There is an additional visual resource in D4 to enable students at the far end of the room to see the display on the projector. The TV will duplicate whatever is displayed on the projector.

The setup can be used in duplicated mode or extended mode.

 Duplicated will reflect whatever is on the teacher’s desk PC screen on the projector and the TV
 Extended will not show what is on the teacher’s desk, but the TV & Projector will reflect the same (like having a second monitor)

To operate the TV, follow the setup below – it’s very simple.

Ensure that you have the black remote (for the TV), the white remote for the projector and that the HDMI splitter box (to the left of the PC on the teacher’s desk – see below) has the power light

lit. Once you have the PC, Projector & TV on – all 4 lights will be lit.

1. Turn the teacher’s desk PC on

2. Turn on the projector as normal using the white remote.

3. Use the remote (below) to turn on the TV

4. Ensure the green light is on after switching the TV on (see below – bottom right of TV screen)

5. Ensure the TV Source is HDMI1 (it should default to this unless it has been changed) – do this using the source button (highlighted in red on the image of the remote above)

6. You should see the Worthing High login screen on the teacher’s desk monitor and the projector screen and TV.

7. Login to the PC

8. Choose which mode you wish to use (as described earlier) by pressing the Windows Key & P together
